This weekend has plenty of ways to make the music the plan. Late-night DJs and cover bands take things past 9, funk and soul bring some movement to the live lineup, and open-air venues offer a different way to catch a set. Country and rock meet somewhere in the middle, with enough variety to keep the decision interesting.
When the bands finish, the night isn't necessarily over. Friday and Saturday both have plenty happening after 9, from classic-rock covers and hip-hop DJs to house, EDM, and late-night karaoke.

Not every band night is about loud guitars. This weekend has funk, soul, Motown, R&B, and dance-pop working their way through the live-music lineup. These are the sets to consider when standing still isn't the plan.
Sunday
Some sets are better with a little room to spread out. The weekend's outdoor lineup moves between Cape Coral's waterfront, Naples' food-truck park, an open-air Fort Myers yard, and an Alva brewery.
Country doesn't stay in one lane this weekend. Some sets lean toward southern rock and classic guitars, while others bring pop into the mix. There's room for a little twang without committing to a strictly country night.
