We were there for karaoke and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The food was tasty. Our waitress Kimber was so friendly she even gave us some of her homemade cookies. We definitely plan on going back again.

A lot of fun. We were there on Friday, karaoke night, and we had a blast. It's an older crowd earlier in the evening and by 10 the younger crowd takes over. Worth the time.

Menu has a wide variety for every taste. Inside is dark and setup with a party bar vibe. Karaoke at 7 on Friday.

During the weekdays the place is great and just a normal restaurant the food is good and also pretty basic but very good decor is good if you whant to party and karaoke is quite fun the owners are nice and the place in indeed a gay bar but the kinda stuff that would happen at one only happens during the week waiters are very friendly to regulars nice place to eat

Food is great, entertainment is outstanding, the overall vibe is fantastic at Bambusa. Honestly, I had not looked at Bambusa because I thought it would be a Chinese restaurant (with the name Bambusa, related to bamboo). I don't eat Chinese. I hate that I was mistaken for so long. It's fantastic!! And once I learned about the entertainment here, well, that sealed the deal: I knew we had to go. We had a wonderful time at Bambusa. We knew they had a reputation for great food, but I have wanted to come for the entertainment. We were not disappointed by either. We ordered the fried green tomatoes (could have been a little more firm); salmon with sweet potato fries, broccoli, and a Caesar salad; and a tuxedo bomb afterward. I don't like salmon but my husband does and he really liked it. If you like sweet potato fries, you must try Bambusa's. They are not from some food service truck; they are cut into slabs of potato, and they're crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The salad is a good portion, with yummy croutons and shaved parmesan. Delicious. The tuxedo bomb is a mousse like chocolate covered cake served with a scoop of ice cream, raspberry sauce and whipped cream. Oh man, so good. It's so friendly in here; we talked with all the people around us and the people who ended up sitting at our table once the entertainment began. I saw a google reviewer said he felt he was being judged in here, and I'm having a hard time believing that. In fact, I believe that even if someone walked in wearing a Liberty University t-shirt, they'd still be welcome - now, I also believe that it'd open the door to lots of conversations (and the person would leave with an education), but I still believe that they'd be welcome as long as they weren't in there tossing out slurs. Lots of laughter, lots of fun. Wonderful crowd with overall great vibe. DJ walks around after the show and gets people up and dancing. Gotta appreciate when how he came back around after realizing I use a wheelchair to dance with me at the table so I didn't feel left out. :) I left hoarse from so much cheering/screaming (the good kind). Even as we left, we chatted with some of the performers and just really enjoyed it. Check their calendar so you know when to show up for performances.
