I was not at all impressed with this over priced bar, with cigar smoking older men looking to hook up with the many beautiful younger women there. I did hear it was a meet market. Not the place I would prefer to meet someone. The band was “EH”. The food was the same. We had spinach and artichoke dip with the blue corn tortillas. In my opinion those two don’t pair well together. I know they were trying to be fancy but, I would prefer delicious. It wasn’t. We also had a couple of the pizzas and they were just fair. My brother did try a martini which I suppose is what you should get. It was a martini that you can get anywhere. I am a beer drinker so I got my usual and it was not cold. Ice cold. I prefer my beers sitting in that setting to be ice cold. I can say we had a pretty good time but mostly because family time and people watching. I wouldn’t go back.
My friend was on her second drink over the course of an hour and a half and had barely taken two sips of it before the staff declared her "too drunk" and took away the $20 drink that she paid for without any reimbursement. She was completely fine and coherent. I understand why this rule exists, but two one drink and a couple sips of another over the course of 1.5 hours?
I met some friends at Blue Martini last Friday evening and was very impressed with the band playing on stage..lead guitarist, bass player, keyboardist, drummer, & female lead vocalist! That were very accomplished playing all the latest hot hits and everyone in the place was enjoying it . Atmosphere was great and our waitress was first class. This is a great place to take your Posse Comitatus for a Special Occasion or Celebration!
It’s a No No place. Used to come here almost every week cause my friends love it here. Rude staff, especially the bartender at the bar by the restroom. the bouncers think they have all the power to do whatever they want to the customers, when the fact is they dont even have a right to touch customers without asking them to leave first. Music is super outdated. DJ always play something that was hit when I was in collage like 10 years ago. If you come here often you will have a question in your head “ Do some DJs really press play? “
