Jimmies is a great place for locals or visitors to come and enjoy a few drinks with great bartenders. This year they fired some great people who made us want to come back! Made us feel like family! Made us feel special! Remembered our name! Now they hired someone named Wendy and she is miserable! Looks it and acts like it. Has no friendly compassion to her guests. I now have been there 5 times when she was working and all she does is complain and treat you as if you are annoying her for asking her for a drink. In fact, almost annoyed you are there at the bar. I have witnessed her treat people different if she knows you. I am a local customer that lives doors down and always loved to come to Jimmie’s but now I have to check to see who’s working in order for me to enjoy my time there! I love Denise, Linda, and other past employees. Jimmie, ask thriving bars for advice. Change is good. Adapt! Be agile to consumer likes! Sincerely, A concerned neighbor.
We enjoyed staying the night and well into the afternoon at the Lantern Inn and Suites. The tiki bar was great . The staff and patrons were so friendly. We hung out all afternoon, playing cards and games and enjoying refreshments. To our surprise, we were even treated to lunch on Sunday!!
Great unassuming tiki, good people, drama not tolerated. Music curated by bartender not patrons so no random club music mixed it with what is usually a chill vibe.
I came to this place because it was near my house and rated high and it closed late. I read that it had a lot of locals and fun laughs and that is no joke. Look for Pete when you come by. What a blast!
This is just a simple but fun little Tiki bar. Very casual. You will get good service, fair prices, and meet a few new people for sure.
