Excellent and quick service! The atmosphere is fantastic and the food was good! My husband had the Blackened Walleye and it was really good. I had the Fried Pot Stickers and they were fabulous. I also had the Oyster Rockefeller and I wasn't thrilled with those but I'm holding back judgment because my taste buds have been off a little, although, everything else tasted fine.
We ate outside on a newly redone patio with individual high top picnic table cabanas. The tables are nicely spaced and gives an open view of the river. The menu is not huge but it did have choices for everyone vegan, gluten free, meat chicken and fish and salads. The presentation of the food was nice and the items that we got were good. I would say it's a little pricey but perhaps you are paying for the view.
Beautiful place on the river. Our server Sydney was excellent. She got everything right and suggested menu items that were popular with their patrons. She enthusiastically suggested their pumpkin bread pudding which she said is awesome however it's not on my food plan so didn't try it I had walleye which was really good. Cooked to perfection. I had it fried and the breading was perfect. Not heavy but light and crispy. My compliments to the cook
We have visited the area for many years and always said we needed to stop and try this little place on the river. It was not crowded the night we stopped in with them and the service and food were very good. They are in the middle of renovation and it looks great what they have completed. Plenty of room outside to enjoy food, music and the water views. We will be back and look forward to seeing things completed with the renovations.
We were always driving past this place and noticed there were always lots of cars there so it must be good. About a month later we came on a beautiful Saturday for lunch. It’s a very busy place. We were lucky to get the last tiki hut table. Our waitress was courteous and friendly. She got our orders in and the food came reasonably quick. We had the firecracker shrimp tacos and the black and blue burger. They were delicious. The bathrooms were clean. Would definitely come back here. Do not come late for lunch as you will have to wait. Would recommend this place!
