Nice waterfront restaurant. Lots of outdoor seating some covered some direct sun.. We had lunch tasty Flatbread, and large tasty burger.. Park in the parking garage, walk across the pedestrian alley to the waterfront and walk towards the hotel and marina. Signage seemed to be lacking for Nauti Mermaid.
place takes no reservations - normally not an issue, but not even a waiting list when you arrive. No hostess either so we asked and were told stalk a table and grab it. Well we found one, had waitresses walk by numerous times, asked people if we could be served (bus boys, waitresses). After 30 minutes, no one. We left. Rumrunners made our night enjoyable after the debacle at this place...
The Spinach and Artichoke dip was burnt to a turn. The bartender gave us bar napkins instead of the cloth napkins when we asked, ordered drinks and got the wrong ones twice. Great view but the staff needs a bit of training.
Really love this outside restaurant. The bar tenders are so friendly. Howard is awesome!!
The menu changes unfrequently, but a new addition is the sambal rice bowl, either the chicken (entree) or the tofu (appetizer) and they are worth a try. Beautiful presentation with crispy protein, microgreens you can actually taste, steamed fresh veggies (carrots or green beans) drizzled with a delightful chili garlic sweet sambal sauce. I could eat it for every meal.
