Worth the food coma! Quick service and fun musical atmosphere. Delicious and filling meals. Friendly service from our waitress Kathy, who said a funny joke about Tarzan for us. The dock is also a pleasant place to walk and see the fish and boats under the highway. Pictured is the San Carlos Slammer burger, $15.99
We had a great time eating here! Our waitress brought our dog a water bowl with lots of ice cubes. There was even a dog menu, our dog chose the chicken breast! We always love eating at places we can bring our dog that have room between the tables so our dog doesn't bother anyone. We were here at 12p.m. and found 5$/hr parking next to restaurant. We ordered the Nachos and they were huge, we couldn't finish them! There was even live music while we were here.
A little bit of confusion when we arrived as we had to wait a bit for our server...once he came to us he was attentive and all was good. Gave us a bit more time to read their abundant menu with several selections. Ceasar salad with blackened shrimp was tasty but as a shrimp lover and being on an island with shrimp boats, I would have liked more than 4 large shrimp on my salad. My side dish of coconut onion rings were good and came with +1 more. Free parking would have also been nice as a bonus for restaurant patrons...we paid $10 for the spot but lengthened our stay with a walk to the pier afterwards to get some ice cream for dessert.
We showed up 8 people deep, no reservation (not sure if they take reservations) for dinner on a Wednesday night. Granted, it's mid week this place was packed. They attempted to give us high top seating. We explained that wouldn't work for us, they immediately accommodated us and pulled a few tables together and sat us. We waited 5 minutes top. The host and service were awesome. I ordered French onion soup and blue crab stuffed shrimp. It came with veggies and garlic mash. Great dish as advertised. The menu is huge, great views. Loved it.
My husband and I visited Nervous Nellie's on Easter Sunday for dinner. We found $10 parking in the lot across from the restaurant. When we got to the restaurant they had indoor and outdoor seating available. No waiting. We selected to sit outside to enjoy the waterfront view. They had live music on the night we dined. Our server was fantastic. She was very attentive and had great suggestions on the menu items. I would highly recomend the sailors delight. The sauce was amazing! (Heres a tip) The fried grouper bites appetizer also have the same sauce. So good! We ended up chatting with a family sitting next to us and had a great time. This was some of the best food we have had on the island so far. If you are in Fort Myers you must take time to stop in at Nervous Nellies.
