Had our wedding there December 15th 2018. Nothing went as planned. Was told different information by 3 different staff members after signing the contract and making the deposit. Was told nothing was going on at the event center the day prior to the wedding so that we could set up the decorations in the venue. I showed up bright and early at the time I was allowed to contractually. I was yelled at by a man upon walking in about him needing to set up for a Christmas party within the next 30 minutes and that I was in his way. None of the staff informed me about the large event. People we're sitting at our wedding tables made up for the event and putting food and drinks on them. There had to be at least 70 people in that small space. It was a horrible experience. It made what should have been a 3 hour set up turn into a 9 hour set up. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to cry. I never once was rude to the staff. But it was an unbelievable experience. I can't believe how much I had paid to have such a horrible experience. On top of that none of the tables were set up where they should have been when I got there the morning of set up. Which was part of the price of the venue and contract. I literally had less than 20 minutes to move everything around before they closed. My entire family that helped me set up was in disbelief at what had transpired. And honestly I have never been treated this poorly in my life.

At very reasonable annual dues, this HOA is the best deal in Florida. A club of clubs, there is something there for everyone. There are lectures, musical entertainment, parties, fishing courses, card games, and volunteer opportunities. They maintain a website and a print magazine to keep all informed about activities in our area. Nice facilities close to center of town and they co- sponsor or encourage many downtown activities. We are big fans of this association.

We had our Engagement Birthday party here at The PGI Civic Association on May 24th. The office staff was awesome and accommodated as much as they could to make sure we had an awesome evening. We were allowed to come in a decorate early, so long as another event was not booked for the day before. The room was transformed beautifully as the canvas of the room gives you the ability to use your creative mind. I believe the maintenance man name was Rod or Rob, he was amazing from set up to break down. He made us comfortable the entire night. Not sure how important it is to others but the fact they had Ice onsite made for a great convenience. The kitchen is huge as well stocked with most of what you need. We still carried our own but they try to make sure you have a bit to choose from. The bathrooms are a good size and clean. We will definitely be hosting more family events here at the PGI Civic Association. Thank you Dee, Connie, Rod and the rest of staff you are amazing.
