If you can find a spot to get comfortable, this place is great fun. One of the most popular places on Siesta Key but for good reason. They have a great selection of oysters from all over the coast. Their menu is very descriptive about where the oysters come from and how salty they are, so pick which ones suit your fancy best! They also have pretty darn good wings, I asked them to hurt me with their best spicy wings and they delivered! I'll be back.
The food and atmosphere is really great! Live music is also fun!! I had to take away stars because you serve frozen fish fingers on your kids menu - super disappointing!! ***Replying to you on the fish sticks - this is even more disappointing now as we specifically asked our server and we were told they were frozen fish sticks.......if we had the correct information our kids would have definitely had them!
What can I say about this Siesta Key staple that hasn't already been said? Well, I'm going to do a review anyway. I've been eating here for over 15 years and it's still amazing. They did however change their menu slightly BUT it's even better then before which is hard to do after you've been so accustomed to the food, but they did it! Fresh seafood and tasty appetizers. The atmosphere is second to none with live music and a laid back vibe. Sitting in the middle of the village with the salt water breeze is priceless.
Oysters were fresh. Blackened Grouper with French fries very satisfying.
Amazing food! I had the special for the day which was grilled salmon with mushroom risotto. Which was fantastic! Husband had a dozen oysters and the fish and chips, also fantastic. They have happy hour every day from 3 pm to 6 pm. If you like oysters, you can get a dozen for 8 dollars during happy hour. Can't beat that! They have lots of specialty drinks to choose from too.
