We arrived late, about 40 minutes before closing. They do have dining on the beach but, that part was already closed for the evening. The food was exceptionally awesome. I ordered shrimp stuffed with crab meat wrapped in bacon. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, the crab meat stuffing was so flavorful it exploded in your mouth, and the bacon wrapped around it was perfectly done and just overall gave it that exceptional flavor that savored in your mouth. The dish presented to me was so beautiful to look at and impressed me so much that I had to actually take a picture of it, which I posted. I have to say this is one of the best dinners I've ever had. That's how good it was and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The restaurant is right on the beach with a very comfortable atmosphere. It has live entertainment which is always a plus. Parking was available across the street. Staff were professional and friendly and the bathrooms were clean. This place was an overall delightful experience, I would love to go back again and again.
The food is great. The service was great. When I got my bill the burgers were $16, not the $14 on the menu. The $14 burger in the photo is the only one I saw on the menu and the one I ordered. When I mentioned it to the server he had the bill adjusted. Did management change the price on the sly to take advantage of peak season? Do they do this on other menu items? I don't know. How many other people paid the higher than advertised price without knowing it? Just check your prices when you order and verify when you get your bill.
FYI: Visited this establishment on March 18, 2021 and to my surprise they have no handicap accessibility. There used to be a functioning elevator at street level however it has not worked "for some time" according to one of the employees. I have no right leg and get around with the use of my prosthetic leg and a battery operated scooter which weighs 70 lbs. In order for my buddy and I to enter he carried my scooter up the 8 stairs. He's 66 years old and stubbed his toe falling forward half way up the staircase dropping my scooter but was not seriously injured. I traversed the staircase by pulling myself up via a handrail on the left side. I've never felt so crippled in public in my life. We received no help from any employee. I asked the front door attendant why the elevator (lift) was not working and she simply responded it was not her decision to keep the elevator inoperable. Last time I checked handicap accessibility is a FEDERAL LAW! It is not a decision of management whether or not to comply. This place should be shutdown until this noncompliance is corrected!
My family and I went out to lunch at Sunset Beach. Service was excellent! Our food came out rather quickly. Food was good. We had a party of 11 but they wouldn’t allow us to split the check. That would be my only complaint. Overall good experience.
My wife and three children absolutely loved this place! We dined on the sand 20 feet from the Gulf. Prices were good and the food was great, service was fast even though we ate right at noon. We will definitely return if we visit Fort Meyers beach again
