Back again in Feb 2022. Same great cuisine and great service. We were celebrating an anniversary and were given the VIP table and a keepsake. Service is just superb. An alert to those visiting first time: traffic has become terrible on 41 and Bay House is not the easiest place to get to. But well worth the effort - great setting, great food, great service, great venue. May be the best in Naples. Being from NJ we have high expectations for waterside seafood restaurants. The Bay House did not disappoint. I had the twin grilled lobster tails which were done to perfection and my wife had the cod which was also done perfectly. Too many times fish is way overcooked- the Bay house does right. Service was great and the setting very nice. Definitely a return trip warranted
We made reservations for a table on the water but it was raining so they found a place for us indoors. They had live music playing which would have been nice but it was so I’m incredibly loud that dinner conversation was not even an option. To communicate with our waiter we had to literally shout at each other. The food was good. Watermelon poke was phenomenal! I got the “try all 3”option for an appetizer. The cornbread was good but not worth $10 for the chunk & the honey butter was bland. No bread or dinner rolls were served with dinner which we felt was a rip off considering the prices of the meals. Alex, our waiter was hands down the highlight of the evening. He was very friendly, personable and did a nice job helping us make selections. I am not sure I would return even if we lived in the area. Definitely not if there was live music again. The loudest dinner spot I have ever been to.
Impressed by several things. We were seated promptly at reservation time on a very busy evening with excellent service by our waiter, Gerardo. There are several eating options to fit your desire. We chose the dining room due to availability and is lovely, however, we are a lively group and outdoor or Tavern would’ve been a better option for us. The chef surprised us with a serving of broccoli cheddar soup following our appetizers that included the pimento cheese with crackers and cornbread. All three were delicious. The manager, Taryn, took time to visit our table making sure that our group were satisfied with service and food. The flounder special and pan seared grouper that is pictured were excellent. However, the roasted black cod entree was the winner and highly recommend it to the fish enthusiast! Topping off an amazing dinner we ordered coffee, ice cream sundae and key lime cobbler. Again, it was delicious! Enjoyed live music in the Tavern and the bartender did excellent serving us, as well. A wonderful evening with friends.
One of our top dining experiences in years of Coming to Naples. Started off with some drinks at the bar inside while the band was playing, and while we waited for our reservation. Had a great martini and the tuna poke app that was delicious. We sat out back later and had the corn crab bisque soup, which admittedly should have been hotter, the lobster dipped in butter app which was fantastic and then had the cod Which was outstanding and the burger that was very tasty. Can not wait to come back. A+.
Tucked away. Romantic. Water's edge. A Naples gem for outdoor dining along the bay. Understandably, the quality of their kitchen has been hit. We waited nearly 40 minutes to receive 4 entrees after appetizers. Besides the steak, the fish and scallop entrees lacked texture and seasoning. It still remains one of our favorite dining treasures. The front terrace was filled with other folks that would agree.
