From the moment our family stepped into this restaurant, we were warmly greeted and welcomed, we found a great spot and loved the jazz music all evening. The service and the food was incredible. Our kids ranted and raved about the calamari. The food was so flavorful and a fantastic range of food to chose from. Definitely an upscale restaurant that will blow you away. We highly recommend The Grill at 1951 and look forward to returning.
We celebrated my husband's birthday quietly yesterday evening at The Grill at 1951. We totally loved it. The atmosphere was dim and soft creating great ambiance.. They have limited tables that makes for a even better atmosphere..A stage is in front wherein we listened to a man sing while playing his guitar. There are many screens that randomly change with famous artwork. The service was impeccable. No one rushes you. I had Peppered Ahi Tuna on risotto. My husband had fresh fish. The food was superb. The prices were fair. I highly recommend The Grill at 1951 to anyone that wants a nice, relaxing dinner.
Always checking out new food places, we came across this one online and decided to give it a try. We went for dinner, and were surprised to see the restaurant not really busy. But was still very excited and hopeful this was just going to be amazing, fight?! Well….. Was pretty disappointed with the whole experience, and I was not expecting to, so needless to say I was extremely disappointed. So the only positive thing I can say is the food was good, pretty good but not “wow” good (if you know what I mean). The service however, not so good. The waitress was not too busy, it was steady for her, but it seemed to take extremely long for drinks (and refills) as well as for her to just even check on us. She was nice though, just couldn’t figure out why we were just I guess forgotten at times. I will say that in my opinion I felt that the price range the food was in was higher than the quality somewhat, and portions seemed somewhat I consistent as well. Overall not a great experience for what they charge.
The Grill At 1951 is nothing short of an amazing experience! To start off the scenery is beautiful, the live music really ties the place together and their menu is well constructed and detailed. Their wine selection is extensive and very informative. We were a party of 6 and our waiter "The Chad" took real excellent care of us. All of our appetizers entrees and deserts were so delicious and tasty. Many thanks to the executive chef Todd Stolpe for the amazing dishes and wonderful service. What a magnificent job the team is doing in our community. If you haven't already make sure to check out The Grill At 1951 and enjoy the experience at one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.
The atmosphere is nice. Live music is nice. The prices are high for the portion sizes. The seafood dishes contain more pasta and risotto than actual seafood. Server was not very attentive and never did refill our water glasses. Ordered coffee with dessert and the coffee came out long before the dessert did. Was never offered a refill so that I could actually enjoy the coffee with dessert. Not sure I’ll visit again.
