The drinks were made really good. Our bartender was great and offered great suggestions for food. They ran out of the special tonight and offered a different version. My husband enjoyed the chicken pot stickers. I ordered the steak tacos and they were good too. My only complaint is that the food was saltier then I normally like. it was ok there. Prices are average. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Dude this place is cool when you sit a bar and your comfy this is it. Went there 2 years ago. Then ended up in town again. It's there 4 year anniversary. 4$ quesadilla.
My wife and I visit The Mable often with friends on weekdays as it's a great stop for a quick beer and healthy conversation. The atmosphere is intimate and warm, and the bartenders are very personable. I try to avoid it on weekends while college is in session as it can get pretty packed and loud.
After a day on the water swimming with whale sharks, there is nothing better than stopping at the Mable for some great food and drinks!
I love the Mable cause they allow a great artist Benjamin Jacobs to play and do open mic nights every Tuesday which are awesome and very enjoyable. I also often buy the food they serve as a late night meal (compliments to the Chef). Ive always had love for the place even before it was called Mable but years ago as an upcoming artist whomever had ownership allowed us to play at a different open mic and once me and my crew showed up we got on stage started performing and I kid you not even 30secs after starting the police comes in and tells us that we needed to stop the music because we were to loud. Im not making this up im just telling it like it is. Now the atmosphere is a different vibe and I love showing up and watching everybody smile and have a great time. The Mable needs to book KT the Legend.
