Atmosphere, incredible. Food presentation and flavor was perfect. Wait staff was very professional yet fun. Escargot, crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms for starters were all good. Seared Jumbo Scallops and the Southern Sampler were great. Don't forget the key lime pie and homemade ice cream!!! Did I forget they make awesome signature martinis!
The Veranda is a quintessential southern dining experience. The ambiance of the spacious outdoor patio really set the mood for my birthday dinner. Delicious crab cakes and perfectly cooked sea food, I highly recommend. Not to mention Peaches the sweetest wait staff kitty!
Floridian charm restaurant. Although it's indoor area is very nice, but I feel like the patio is more charming. The food was very delicious and their service was also outstanding too. Enjoy my first experience there.
My family and i had my 37th birthday dinner Jan 12th 2022 and it was AMAZING! I had their Lamb, never gad it before, it was incredible! A must go to spot for a date night or special occasion. Our waiter Pete was on point! Thanks for making my special night so much more special!
I have heard about this fine dining restaurant for the past few years and was looking forward having their Chateaubriand which is finished tableside. It was prepared beautifully by our server and was absolutely delicious. It came with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. Muffins and cornbread was served prior to the meal. I had the blue crab cake appetizer that was good and would order it again (full disclosure...I grew up in Maryland and absolutely love Maryland crab cakes. I know we're not in Maryland so when I order crab cakes, I don't expect them to be what I grew up eating but cant help to compare them anyways). Other members in our party had the portobello mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, and pan seared scallops. All of our meals came with a salad. Other entrees ordered were the southern sampler, pan seared scallops, chicken Orleans, a vegetarian meal. Desserts were creme brulee, flourless chocolate torte, cheesecake, and pecan pie a la mode. The desserts were also very good. The reason for the four out of five stars was because of the vegetarian dinner we ordered. We understand that is not their normal offering (as evidenced by the menu) but we did call ahead a week prior. The person who took the call said they would let the chef know ahead of time and to let our server know to remind them. The meal that came out was roasted vegetables with zucchini, peppers (red, yellow, green), string beans, mushrooms, and a carrot. The roasted vegetables were flavorful and we appreciated the dietary accommodation. It was just missing a starch, whether that was a pasta or the mashed potato which they served with their other menu offerings. One desert suggestion I would recommend is the bananas foster. We didn't know about it until the table next to us ordered it. It was also made tableside. Overall, the service and the food was delicious and would highly recommend. Though there is a parking lot near by, there is valet parking at the door. Bon appetit!
