The outside bar has a great happy hour and some good pizza and snacks. The restaurant was more upscale and we didn't eat there. Sunsets can be seen from either. Recently returned to Waves outdoor bar/cafe. The service staff was outstanding. Every employee was gracious and treated us like VIPs. I highly recommend Waves for informal outdoor dining and a very reasonable happy hour. Servers Colleen and Bobby deserve special mention. We felt safe and comfortable.
I was visiting this area and want to try out this restaurant. When we first walked in we saw a sign that said happy hour until 6 and we were right on time. The waitress did the normal routine and asked us what we wanted to drink which was great and very attentive. We then put in our appetizer order and made order for the table. Then I realize that I was not aware what was the specials for the happy hour and that I would of love to know my options prior to ordering my drinks. When I ask the waitress she then advise me of the happy hour drink specials. I then ordered the classic margarita which was 5 dollars which was great. I had an issue happen where I was eating the fried cauliflower and when I was chewing it i felt something hard and it hurt my tooth. I then spit it out and it was a rock. I was so disgusted that I wanted to vomit. I also addressed to the waitress and she apologized but no one above her came out to apologize. I felt dismissed and not important they still charged me for the cauliflower appetizer with the rock in it. Ifeltlike they should of done more. Everything that order came out great but the appetizer. I would not order the appetizer again nor visit this location.I hope anyone else has a better experience then I did. Good luck!
Went to Waverly for dinner after a walk on the beach - had salmon with rice - absolutely delicious and my husband had grits with shrimp and gave it great marks. I also had two watermelon margaritas which were fabulous. We had no issues with parking and the service was excellent thanks to our waitress Stephanie. I would absolutely go back.
Our first time there, but Stacey did a great job! Knew the menu well, very personable and kind! She should be commended! If I may make one small recommendation however: fresh desserts always do better than frozen desserts.
It was my first time eating there. I had a good experience until my food was delivered. The host was very friendly, checking on me during my meal. My waitress, Anna was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! It was a chilly evening and the clam chowder hit the spot! Both the host and waitress had masks on. However, the guy that served me my soup and then my dinner did not have a mask on either time he served me - it was around his neck. I know things are more lax in Florida but I won’t be going back for that reason.
