One of Naples best Italian Restaurants located on Historic 5th Ave. This restaurant is one of my favorites any time I am visiting. Pictured is their Veal Parmigiana and Surf and Turf Special. Expect an outstanding meal and excellent, attentive service here. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining options as well as a large bar. I have only been there on the weekends but there was live music both nights. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on the weekend. During the season they are a must!
In that place there used to be an excellent Spanish Restaurant ... now it is an Italian restaurant, in Naples there are many Italian restaurants (very good, for example "La Pesceria") and few Spanish. That restaurant that is supposedly "Italian" continues to play the same background songs when the restaurant was about Spanish food. Remember that Spanish food is not Mexican food, Spanish food is one of the most sophisticated, exquisite and healthy in the world. From there, from their technique, flavor and variety, it is that they were inspired during the colony in America to make their "own" dishes. Naples deserves an authentic Spanish food restaurant, from the Iberian Peninsula, to honor Naples, the State of Florida (Spanish name) and the United States of America, the best country in the world.
I have never had complaints before, but I called the morning of Mother’s Day to make reservations. I was given a 7:15 reservation, no problem. I get there and they tell me that the reservation it is outside only. It would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time While I made the reservation over the phone I would’ve politely declined and moved on to another establishment. The last thing a mother wants to do on Mother’s Day is sit outside in there scorching Florida humidity.
We went here for post-wedding drinks after my best friends wedding & it was so fun! They ended up staying open later than normal just for our group. While all of the staff were super fun, friendly & accommodating, the bouncer made the night! Upon arrival, he had asked the bride and groom what their first dance song was. The DJ wasn't able to play it, so he gave the group a free hookah. This bar ended up being a highlight of the whole wedding weekend.
Very cool and fun atmosphere. Had live music when we went. The food was only okay. Eggplant parm was good but the pizza was not - crust was too thick and hard to chew. Would be back for the atmosphere though. Fun place for a weekend night.
